SUP-FIT specialises in developing and delivering SUP programs for schools
SUP-FIT has introduced over 3,500 students to the skills and fun of Stand-Up Paddle boarding. We are an accredited, affiliated, and insured Surfing Australia SUP School and our Instructors all hold SUP qualifications along with water rescue and First Aid. We hold Parks Victoria Permits to conduct SUP lessons in both Port Phillip and Westernport Bays as well as Devilbend Reservior.
SUP-FIT can work with schools in a number of ways, and we can adapt our SUP lessons to fit into any school’s Aquatic/Outdoor Education program at the beach.
- Deliver SUP programs as part of a rotation of planned water/beach learning activities
- Teach SUP to up to 28 students on the water at once. A greater number of students can be included in one lesson by using group rotation.
- Plan with teachers a program that includes both on-the-beach learning tasks with on-the-water SUP
- Lesson times are 75min or 90min and can be adapted to any schools requirements

The SUP sessions Mark conducted during my school’s water safety program were just brilliant. Mark is a super reliable and enthusiastic instructor who puts safety first and always ensures all students get the most out of his lessons. He was very flexible, was great to work alongside and really does cater for all abilities. I highly recommend him and his SUP sessions for any primary and secondary school looking for an exciting outdoor activity.
Mark ran a whole day program that tied in with our Year 5/6 Beach Program on Friday 4th March at Frankston Beach. Our students had a fantastic time learning new skills with Mark. The instructions he gave before and after the sessions made it easy for the children to understand, and his assistance out on the water was of great benefit to the children as well. I thoroughly recommend the SUP FIT program conducted by Mark Renouf to other schools in the future.
“I had never done SUP before and I was a little nervous, but Mark was a good teacher and before I knew it, I was paddling all by myself and teaching others as well” – Grace, Grade 4
“Stand up paddle boarding was the best. I want to get one of my own now!” – Mason, Grade 3
“Thanks for today. Kids had a great time!! Happy to refer you to other schools. Great job and thanks again for being so accommodating!”
